With great joy and enthusiasm we invite you to join us for the Meditations on the Message class which will be held Saturday, September 11th in our home Kansas City and also via Skype and the internet.
This class will focus on the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan on the subject of the “ The Training of the Ego: The Three Parts of the Ego”. The teaching will be supported with supplemental readings, meditations, and breath practices all aimed at the development of mastery over the limitations of one’s own personality and character.
In the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan: “The ego is divided into three parts, the physical ego, the mental ego, and the spiritual ego. The mental ego covers the spiritual ego, and the physical ego is a cover over the mental ego. The ego indeed is one, but these are the three different aspects of the ego..” Join us to learn more.
If you live at a distance from Kansas City, please consider joining the class through the internet via Skype. Skype is a free application download with unlimited free usage. Skype facilitates audio and visual connectivity via the web. When multiple users are involved Skype will only facilitate audio.

In order to maintain the sacred space we will limit the skype conference line to participants who are "skyped in" before the event. After the event begins the skype conference line will be closed.
Please be online at 1:45 PM CST-USA. The class at our Center begins promptly at 2:00 PM CST-USA. Please send a text chat (rather than calling) using skype to inform the moderator of your intention to join the session. The moderator will add you to the conference line.

There is no fee for the class; however, donations will be gratefully received to benefit various charitable causes. The class is open to everyone whether one has experience in the art of meditation or not, and we extend this invitation to your family and friends.
Comfortable seating will be available (chairs and couches); however, if you are so inclined to sit on the floor, please bring a cushion.
