Gemma Erickson has studied the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan and the Path of Universal Sufism for more than three decades. She has a heartfelt dedication to the ideals of The Message of Love, Harmony and Beauty and Spiritual Liberty, introduced to the western world by Hazrat Inayat Khan. Gemma serves this Sufi Message through offerings of Inayat Khan's teachings and meditations of sacred music and sound.
Travels to India, Turkey and Europe have offered Gemma intercultural and inter-religious experiences which have inspired her on the Sufi path, seeking deeper understanding of the universal ideals that raise us above distinctions and differences which divide human kind and guide us toward living with respect for all people.
As a professional designer and design educator for over twenty years, Gemma has worked in firms in New York City, Chicago and Kansas City, and has received honored recognitions by the design profession.
